Henry says, "He recorded this whilst living in California." A version of "Pretty Ugly" ended up on the Unum Machina album, Towers.

Mike recorded these tracks in Fall 2006. They were recorded on his computer at his apartment in Madison and emailed to a number friends. While the tracks were recorded when he was in A Gnarly Swell, bits and pieces would wind up in other projects like Call the Dog. "Gravity," "Going Down," and "The Moon" are all tracks that would become "Gravity" as played by A Gnarly Swell and Unum Machina and recorded as Call the Dog on the album Flaws.

I don't know what to say about these songs. Somebody send me the backstory on any of these songs. Cool? Cool.

To satiate his metal appetite, Mike formed the pretend band, Juggernaut Fisticuff. These songs were recorded with Todd Finley at Shane's, presumably in one take, in the summer of 2006.
